Top seed Liu Tsz-Ling doubled her WSA World Tour title tally at the weekend after defeating Amanda Landers-Murphyin a five-game final of the WA Open City Of Perth Challenge in Australia. 

The 20-year-old from Hong Kong had made light work of her early rounds and was yet to drop a game heading into her semi-final match with Megan Craig of New Zealand.  She manoeuvred past the tournament No7 in four games to set up the top seed clash against Murphy, who similarly had only dropped one game on her route to the final.

A narrow tie-break first game in favour of the No1 seed spurred Murphy on, and she hit back by winning two games in succession with Tsz-Ling seemingly unable to respond.  But the Hong Kong international refocused and again claimed a narrow victory in the fourth, before using the momentum to close out the win in the deciding game to deny Murphy her own second title win.
