  • Biography

Emma Beddoes already has nine WSA World Tour titles to her name, the most recent wins coming from victories in the 2013 at the Courtcare Open and Penang Open.

Since playing her first WSA event back in 2004, the Englishwoman from Leamington Spa then saw a hugely positive couple of years which saw her quickly jump from anonymity up to the world’s top 50.

Her first WSA World Tour title came in Portugal in 2007’s Colombo Open where she beat top seed Tricia Chuah in straight games.  Titles across England, Wales, Netherlands and the US later followed, as year by year Beddoes has improved her ground and continued to climb up the rankings.

In 2014 Beddoes reached the quarter finals of four WSA gold series events and the last 16 of two platinum events as well as making the last 16 of the World Championships for the first time.

Known for her ‘never say die’ attitude, Beddoes is hard to beat and this attitude saw her break in to the world top 20 in April 2014 and a to date career high ranking of 15 in February 2015
